Our Approach to Anxiety

When we are helping clients navigate anxiety, we start by helping clients to embrace and work with their anxiety rather than merely trying to suppress or cope it away. We work on developing skills that help them connect with their anxiety, recognizing it as an important emotional message rather than something to be feared or avoided. The goal isn't just to feel better temporarily, but to truly understand and respond to what anxiety is signaling.

By learning to listen to their anxiety, clients become better equipped to respond in ways that align with their values and move their lives in the direction they desire. This approach transforms anxiety from a barrier into a guide, helping clients navigate their experiences more effectively and meaningfully. We use approaches like mindfulness, IFS, ACT, among others to help clients connect with their inner experience and learn to work with it.
